THIS YEAR'S SPICE ISLE CULTURAL FESTIVAL 2026
The Living Legend Arrives: THE INSPECTOR Live in Montreal!
Get ready for an unforgettable, high-energy experience as the iconic THE INSPECTOR (Elimus Gilbert) takes the stage to ignite the Quebec BIPOC and Caribbean community! For decades, this Calypso and Soca trailblazer has been a vital cultural anchor, using his legendary music as a powerful form of storytelling, celebration, and community pride. By keeping these infectious island rhythms alive far from home, his music creates a beautiful, living bridge, helping first-generation immigrants reconnect with their roots while passing down a vibrant cultural legacy to younger, Quebec-born generations.
His presence on stage is a massive testament to the resilience, visibility, and undeniable impact of Caribbean culture right here in Quebec.
This is your chance to witness history in motion! The Inspector will be headlining a spectacular live performance at the Integration of Roots & Culture event on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at Nelson Mandela Park. Brought to you by the Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec (SICDAQ), this is more than just a concert; it’s a powerful moment for all generations to unite, wave their flags, and celebrate our shared identity under a single banner of community pride.
Don't miss out on the rhythm, the roots, and the absolute magic of the Spice Isles!
